Okay, so these random shut down problems that cost me a computer? SEEM TO BE DEVELOPING ON THIS LAPTOP. Now, after some light research, it is possible it is a Vista problem. However, it is also possible it's about fifty million other problems. The most common suggestion on forums is an overheating problem. I'd buy that if it hadn't hit two computers. Issue is, the desktop was doing it after being wiped. HOWEVER, it is possible there are traces of Vista. That's the OS it was designed to host and I always had a Vista OS disc up when it crashed. I dunno.
However, its also possible Vista hates my tablet. I uninstalled it and haven't had a random shut down since, but I also uninstalled Inkscape (which iirc, was fairly new on the other computer as well... however, I just can't get rid of the issue that the computer was still doing it after being WIPED) and adjusted a few settings on this laptop. So I plan on reinstalling the tablet. If the computer continues to throw fits, I'll uninstall it again and see what happens.
I can afford a new tablet no more than I can afford a new computer. Granted, $100 is less steep than a $300 minimum, but... when you don't have money, you don't have money. So I'm HOPING things are fine. I'm actually gonna do a factory setting reset thing once someone I know gets here to help me do it. I actually am just gonna have her give me the instructions. If this is indeed the same problem and not one with similar symptoms (very possible), I don't think a factory reset will work.

I'm a fan of Japanese animation and manga, tending to prefer movies and live action series for my western interests. I like books, and would be reading Japanese ones if I could read more than about half the kana and a very small assortment of kanji.
My favorite anime/manga is Yu-Gi-Oh! but I'm not a fan of GX or 5Ds. I've seen all of both anime in Japanese, and I'm also working on collecting the Japanese manga (both the original and updated rerelease).
